SOFiCAD extends the functionality of AutoCAD for comfortable plan preparation. Various industry-specific tools, such as scale construction, associative dimensions including elevation marks, and generating cross-section profiles, can be easily modified by double-clicking or via the property manager. The Reinforcement extension allows for the preparation of all kinds of formwork and reinforcement plans, with polygonal mesh layout as well as bending schedules (including for custom shapes) and lists of bars and meshes. Calculation results can be used for the creation of reinforcement, and the final reinforcement can then be exported to the calculation model for a second-order calculation. It is also customizable (macros for the creation of parametric members) and flexible, with a style editor to adapt to project or company standards. The Steel Structure module includes tools for steel framing. Road layout tools are also included, taking into account the axis, slopes, and camber with the generation of regular cross-sections including level marks.
