IS GeoMassi is the software that calculates the 3-dimensional rock fall on a slope using the 'Lumped Mass hybrid' method combined with statistical analysis. The slope morphology is imported into the software via a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) which can be supplied in 'ARC / INFO ASCII GRID' (ASC) or STL (.stl) format or in other digital formats.
IS GeoMassi provides advanced tools for designing safety measures: rock fall barriers; these can be modelled with a large number of parameters: variable height along their development, position of the uprights, parameter of the service energy level and maximum energy level. The main results are: trajectories, velocities, kinetic energies and stopping distance of the rocks represented by means of a coloured scale.
You can define in IS GeoMassi a slope section to be exported, keeping all input data, to the IS GeoRocce program for a detailed study.
