Design Check for Sheet Metal Parts

A new simulation feature allows you to verify during the design phase whether a sheet metal plate can be produced or requires adjustments. This saves you valuable time and ensures consistent production.

Further development of the new standard processing tools

In order to react flexibly to the increasing requirements in metal construction, we have further optimized the drilling grid. Your customer requirements can now be implemented even faster and more accurately.

Revised 3D grid for greater efficiency

In steel construction in particular, axis grids are essential for the fast construction of supporting structures. By revising the 3D axis grid, HiCAD now offers you even more options for modelling and detailing on the drawing in your designs.

New calculated attributes for profiles and sheets

Additional attributes provide you with extended information for creating parts lists. This makes material inquiries even easier and more efficient.

LogiKal import with fittings

The bidirectional interface to LogiKal has been extended: You can now import door or window fittings from LogiKal directly into HiCAD.

This extension allows you a better visualization and more information on the imported LogiKal item.

Improved performance for large drawings

Waiting for CAD systems can be frustrating. This service pack includes optimizations that ensure smoother, delay-free work even with large, multi-gigabyte designs.
