FineFIRE: BIM Fire Fighting Design for projects of any kind and scale

12.10.2023

FineFIRE is the BIM standard for fire fighting design, that faces projects of any kind and scale in an easy, fast and reliable way, according to all the latest standards.

Some typical examples are a) the Dalli case study (an industrial plant for home products), b) the big storage project of the Coca-Cola HBC, c) a Paper Factory case study, d) the Thassos Grand Resort case study and many others.

FineFIRE considers all the parameters of the physical and functional characteristics of a sprinkler network to support the smart network modeling for the quick exploration of alternative viable options. In fact, FineFIRE combines a smart and friendly (acad-like) BIM interface with a reliable calculation engine capable to face any type of piping network (tree systems, gridded, looped etc). FineFIRE ensures full compatibility with Revit®, Archicad®, Vectorworks®, SketchUp Pro® or equivalent.

At a practical level, FineFIRE places automatically the sprinklers, considering the building hazard and type of sprinklers. The program performs a detailed hydraulic simulation for the highest accuracy in the network sizing, considering the equipment technical characteristics (i.e. pump curves/diagrams). In addition FineFIRE generates the exact quantity of the project materials along with their costs and provides a fully documented final printout with the calculation reports followed by the full set of drawings in 2D and 3D. FineFIRE supports all the existing standards (i.e. NFPA13 American Standard, EN 12845, BS9251, AS2118, ASIB11, FM GLOBAL, CEA 4001 etc).
